Thieves have committed a major robbery in the house of a businessman in Valapattanam in Kannur district. Actually, after entering the locked house, the thieves made away with Rs 1 crore and 300 gold coins. According to the information received, at the time of the incident the businessman and his family were traveling and the house was completely empty. Let us tell you, information about this incident was received on Sunday night. This incident happened at KP Ashraf's house. Ashraf does rice business in wholesale. Investigation revealed that the thieves cut the grill on the kitchen window and managed to enter the house from there. After this they committed the theft. During investigation it came to light that the locker in the bedroom had been broken. After stealing the gold and money kept in the locker, the thieves fled from the spot. When Ashraf and his family returned home on Sunday night, they came to know about the theft in the house. Everything in the house was scattered and they came to know that gold and money were missing from their bedroom locker. After the family lodged a complaint, the police immediately reached the spot and started investigation. During this time, the dog squad team also reached the spot and then preliminary investigation was started. During this time, the entire incident was recorded in the CCTV camera installed in the house. The police have started their investigation on the basis of CCTV footage. Police hope that CCTV footage will help in identifying the thieves. The police are now trying to trace the thieves.
